Inspiration Boards

Inspiration boards are very helpful to the... shall I say... the color challenged.  I used to send my " do it yourselfers" off on their merry way with a three ring binder, cut samples, or large sample board to keep them focused and help inspire them, now with my computer generated boards, I can create and print or email these to my clients.  So much fun and so many more options.

Beautiful Master Bedrooms With Chandeliers In Them

Talk about romantic!   Chandeliers in the bedroom.  Whether they are crystal that catch the sunlight and create dancing rainbows around the room or a  metal chandelier shedding a warm amber glow, chandeliers can add a unique New England style decorative touch to your personal space.

Chalkboards in the home add a touch of nostalgia of years gone by

I was inspired to share some of these ideas with you when I saw a chalkboard post on  http://marleyandlockyer.blogspot.com

I remember as a child I always volunteered to "clap" the chalkboard erasers outside for the teachers.  Any reason to get fresh air (and leave the classroom).  We also always had a chalkboard in the kitchen where mom would write lists and message by the kitchen table, but our chalkboard was nothing like the ones I admire today in client's homes and magazines.  Here is a collection of chalkboard photos I found on the Internet. Spring has arrived at New England Fine Living

Spring has sprung at New England Fine Living and more is arriving almost daily!  In this photo of soft green, cream, white, and crystal, we are showcasing items from five of our vendors.

I will be posting more photos soon, but with the store going through such a large metamorphosis, it is a bit turned upside down right now (in other words.... Disheveled and I am not going to show you :-o  ) .

The Write Expression, of Topsfield, MA, is moving their invitation store into two of our rooms... my interior design studio is ever so slowly moving into one of the second floor rooms.... cruise wear and handbags, in a bright array of /Spring and Summer colors arrived this weekend... Yvonne has been busy working on the second issue of New England Finery Magazine and our consignors and vendors keep bringing in wonderful items.  Sometimes it feels more like Christmas than Spring to me.
