From Orange To Green... Adding a little New England Style Flair
I was asked to select a color that would work with this New England style contemporary home. They had just installed new floors, cabinets, lighting, fixtures, and a granite top to the vanity. A soft soothing historical New England green, from Benjamin Moore, called Hollingsworth Green was selected to complement everything in the room.
After a little prep work and sanding, I primed over the green board, spackle, and deep orange paint, let it dry, then followed up with an eggshell finish.
PROJECT TIPS:
Keep your coats of spackle thin and feather the edges to lessen the amount of sanding needed.
when sanding, it is helpful to have a vacuum head following below to help suck up the dust before it spreads around the room.
Isn't it amazing how color can change the feel of a room.
